Lauren Daigle is a 31-year-old international superstar and contemporary Christian artist born in Lake Charles and raised in Lafayette. She's so Louisiana she practically has gumbo running through her veins. Her debut album How Can It Be came out in 2015 and since then Daigle's music has reached ' platinum' status , she's won two Grammy Awards, seven GMA Dove Awards, five Billboard Music Awards, and two American Music Awards.
