Over the last week, schools, businesses, and individuals have been honored by various organizations. Check out who they are.Atkins Elementary was named a Louisiana Comeback Campus by the Louisiana Department of Education. State Superintendent of Education, Dr. Cade Brumley visited the school today to present a special banner in recognition of this prestigious honor. LDOE is recognizing 41 schools throughout the state as Comeback Campuses. These schools are exceeding pre-pandemic levels in reading and math.
